Chocolate & Pecan Oatmeal Cookies

One serving of these equals one serving of carbohydrates.  Make sure you monitor your portion size, otherwise the exchange is not even!

  • non stick cooking spray
  • 1 cup old fashioned rolled oats
  • 1 tsp ground cinamon
  • 1/4 tsp sea salt
  • 1 cup unsweetened applesauce
  • 1/4 semisweet chocolate morsels
  • 1/4 cup chpped raw pecans, toasted

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.  Lightly coat baking sheet with spray.  Set aside.

Combine oats, cinamon, and salt in a bowl and mix well.

Add applesauce, morsels, and pecans; mix well.

Drop by heaping TBSP onto prepared baking sheet; flatten with a spatula.

Bake for 14-16 minutes or until firm.
